Grade 1/2 students were busy during their Garden Program sessions this week, cooking up a storm using the produce they have been growing this semester (JKB next week).
The menu included Lemon Balls, Lemon Myrtle Tea Cake, Garden Herb Crackers and Tomato “sushi”.
Students grated, squeezed, chopped, measured, kneaded, rolled, communicated, worked together, took turns, shared, laughed, cried over onion and best of all tried new foods!
A huge thank you to the parents who were able to lend a hand, your assistance was very much appreciative as this program would not be possible without your help.
