We are very sad to inform the school community that our crossing supervisor, Martyn passed away last Thursday after a long illness.

Martyn was a much-loved and familiar face at Bonbeach Primary School, and he will be greatly missed by our students, families and staff.

 Despite his illness, he was always so positive, kind and happy, and took such pride in what he did. We really valued that he truly cared and that it was far more than just a job for him.

 We are very grateful that he has been a part of the Bonbeach Primary School family.

We are excited to celebrate the wonderful achievements of our students who participated in this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge! The challenge encouraged students to develop a love of reading while exploring a wide variety of books.

A big well done to everyone who took part, and a special congratulations to those who successfully completed the challenge! Your dedication to reading is something to be proud of, and we are thrilled to celebrate your efforts and achievements. Students who completed the challenge will receive their certificates at this week’s assembly. A book club catalogue will be taken around to all students who completed the challenge, and they will be given the opportunity to choose their prize.
