Welcome Back to Term 4!

Welcome back to all our Bonbeach Primary School families for the final term of the year!

We hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable break and is ready for another busy and exciting term at BPS. Term 4 is always a special time of year as we celebrate the achievements and growth of our students, look towards the year ahead and enjoy many of the wonderful events and activities that make this time of year so memorable.

As the weather continues to warm up, we ask families to please ensure children have applied sunscreen each morning before coming to school. Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen to school so they can reapply throughout the day as needed. A reminder that school hats are compulsory whenever students are outside, so please make sure your child brings their clearly labelled school hat to school each day.

There is plenty to look forward to across the term, beginning with Prep Swimming, where our youngest students will have the opportunity to develop their swimming and water safety skills. Our Moving Up Days will also take place throughout the term, with students participating in scheduled sessions in their 2027 year level. These sessions provide students with an opportunity to meet teachers, get to know classmates and become familiar with their new learning environment as we prepare for a smooth transition into 2027.

There will also be plenty of excitement with our Colour Fun Run, while our Year 5/6 student team are competing in the Energy Breakthrough Competition in Maryborough  and will be putting their skills, teamwork and determination to the test. We wish them all the very best as they represent Bonbeach Primary School.

As we move towards the end of the school year, we will also begin celebrating our wonderful Year 6 students as they prepare to finish their primary school journey. Families will also receive Semester 2 reports, providing an opportunity to reflect on each child's learning, progress and achievements throughout the year.

A reminder that Monday 2 November is a Student Free Curriculum Day, immediately before the Melbourne Cup public holiday. Students will not attend school on this day.

We are looking forward to a wonderful final term filled with learning, celebration, friendship and many special moments. Thank you to our families for your continued support throughout the year. Let's finish 2026 together with another fantastic term at Bonbeach Primary School!

regards
