Celebrating the End of Term 3!

What an incredible Term 3 we have had at Bonbeach Primary School!

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, it is wonderful to reflect on all that our students, staff and families have achieved. From learning in our classrooms to special events, performances, sporting opportunities and community activities, there has certainly been plenty happening across the school!

Our students have continued to demonstrate our Bonbeach values of being Kind, Safe and Learners, showing enthusiasm, resilience and a willingness to have a go. We have been particularly proud to see students supporting one another, celebrating each other's successes and taking on new challenges.

Term 3 has also been a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together. We have enjoyed 100 Days of Prep, our Fathers’ and Special Persons’ Day celebrations, the school concert, sporting events, classroom learning experiences and many other special moments.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 3–6 students following their fantastic concert performances this week. The confidence, enthusiasm and commitment they demonstrated on stage was wonderful to see. They should all be extremely proud of themselves! A huge thank you goes to Mrs Ballos and our staff for the many hours of preparation, organisation and encouragement that went into making the concert such a special experience for our students and families.

We would also like to thank our families for your continued support throughout the term. Whether it has been helping with school events, encouraging learning at home, volunteering your time or simply supporting your children each day, your partnership makes such a difference.

Most importantly, we would like to congratulate our students. Every day you are learning, growing and discovering new things, and we are incredibly proud of the progress you continue to make.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break over the holidays. Take the opportunity to rest, spend time together and enjoy some of the simple things that make school holidays special.

Have a safe, happy and relaxing holiday, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term on Monday 5th October!

Have a wonderful holiday!

The Friendship Spot

Introducing ‘The Friendship Spot’ ( A New Lunchtime Club! )

We are very excited to announce a new lunchtime initiative starting in Week 2 next term called The Friendship Spot.

The Friendship Spot is a welcoming lunchtime club at Bonbeach PS where students can meet new friends, enjoy simple games and have a positive start to their lunch break. The club is open to all students, and we particularly encourage children who may be feeling lonely, finding it difficult to make friends, or looking for a safe and welcoming place to connect and relax.

The club will run for 20 minutes at the beginning of every lunch, starting in Week 2. Students can meet at the white picnic tables, where a teacher and Support staff will be available to facilitate games, encourage positive interactions and help students connect with others.

There is no obligation to stay for the whole session, attend every day or visit every week. Students are welcome to drop in whenever they would like to play a game, meet a friend or spend some time connecting with others.

We look forward to creating a space where everyone feels welcome, included, and valued. There is always room for one more friend at The Friendship Spot!

Come. Play. Connect.
