As we approach the halfway point of Term 3, it is wonderful to reflect on the many positive learning experiences taking place across our school. We are looking forward to our Year 3/4 students participating in their swimming program next week, as well as continuing to see the creativity and curiosity of our Year 5/6 students as they explore their Design Lab unit. Students have been developing skills and creating projects across a range of areas including woodwork, sewing, photography and scrapbooking, providing valuable opportunities to design, problem-solve and bring their ideas to life.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the incredible work of our teachers. Each day, our teachers work hard to plan and deliver engaging, content-rich lessons that cater for the diverse learning needs within their classrooms. Their commitment to differentiation ensures that every student is supported, challenged and provided with opportunities to achieve success.

A special thank you also goes to all our wonderful volunteers who continue to support our Bonbeach Farmers Market and BBQ. We understand that weekends are busy, and we appreciate the time and willingness of our families and community members who lend a hand. Our market is the main fundraiser for our school and those funds raised contribute directly to the many wonderful programs, resources and opportunities we are able to provide for our students.

As a school community, we are committed to maintaining positive and respectful relationships. A reminder that the way we speak to and interact with each other is an important part of modelling the behaviours we want our students to demonstrate. Treating teachers, staff, students and fellow community members with kindness, respect and understanding helps create a safe and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting second half of the term with many opportunities for our students and families to be involved, including the Year 3–6 Concert, Book Week celebrations and classroom activities, and our Father's Day celebrations. We look forward to sharing these special moments together before enjoying a well-earned break at the end of the term.
