It has been a busy week full of fun, learning and fantastic experiences across our school!
Our Year 3/4 students had an amazing time at Golden Valley Camp this week, enjoying two fun-filled days packed with adventure, teamwork and new experiences. Students challenged themselves with activities including rock climbing, zip lining, archery, low ropes and a variety of team-building activities, all while building confidence, resilience and friendships. The food was delicious and plentiful, keeping everyone well fuelled for the busy days ahead!
Camp concluded on Day 3 with school-based activities providing students with a fantastic finish to a memorable experience. A huge thank you to Stephen from Adventure Fundraising for the time, energy and enthusiasm he put into ensuring our students had such an enjoyable and rewarding camp experience.
This week, students have also loved welcoming Harold the Giraffe and the Life Education team to our school. Harold created many smiles and laughs while students participated in engaging sessions focused on health, wellbeing and positive choices.
The week has concluded with our student leaders proudly participating in the Junior Mayor Competition and our Environment Leaders attending the Big Green Schools Conference. We are incredibly proud of the way our students continue to represent our school community with enthusiasm, leadership and confidence.
regards
Ken & Jayne
