A Message from Ken and Jayne

Welcome to Term 3!

We hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and well-deserved break. We’re excited to begin another fantastic term of learning, growth, and community at Bonbeach Primary School.

This term, there’s lots to look forward to, including the Years 3–6 House Athletics, the Year 3/4 Swimming Program, the Year 5/6 MITTY Program, Book Week, and our 100 Days of Prep celebration!

As the chilly winter weather continues, we remind families to ensure children are dressed warmly, especially as the playground can be extremely cold during the day.

A gentle reminder that all students are expected to wear uniforms that are appropriate in length and protect modesty. Please remember that bike shorts are not appropriate as an outer garment for school uniform and we encourage students to wear approved uniform shorts. If you require additional uniform items, you are welcome to access the wide range available at our Second hand Uniform Shop or through our uniform supplier:

We’re looking forward to a wonderful Term 3 ahead!

Congratulations Lisa!

Celebrating Lisa’s Gymnastics Success!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about one of our talented students, Lisa Shcherbakov.

Lisa recently competed at the Victorian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, where she achieved outstanding results—winning a Gold Medal in Clubs and placing 3rd All-Around in her level.

Following this incredible performance, Lisa was selected to join the Victorian State Team and went on to represent Victoria at the National Championships held in July on the Gold Coast. Among the youngest athletes in the competition, she delivered an exceptional performance, placing in the Top 10 with Hoop.

Lisa’s achievements are a testament to her dedication, discipline, and passion for her sport. She trains an impressive 17.5 hours per week, including during school holidays, and continues to manage her academic commitments with maturity and focus.

We are incredibly proud of Lisa and look forward to seeing what she achieves next. Congratulations, Lisa!
