Welcome Back to Term 2!
We hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is feeling refreshed and ready for another fantastic term of learning and fun!
This term, we're excited to celebrate Mother’s Day with our annual Mother’s Day Stall and Breakfast. Keep an eye on Compass for all the important details—these events are always a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible.
We also invite everyone to attend our monthly P&F meetings. It’s a fantastic way to get involved and meet other families in our school community. Our next meeting will be held on Monday 28th April at 3:00 PM in the Conference Room—we hope to see you there!
Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for District Cross Country, where our student athletes will have the chance to compete with other schools. We’re also looking forward to the Prep–2 Swimming Program kicking off next month.
Stay tuned for exciting updates about the Prep–Grade 2 Mini Concert—Mrs Ballos is hard at work planning a special event for our Junior School students at the end of term!
Here’s to a wonderful Term 2!
regards
Ken and Jayne
A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who interrupted their holiday to assist at the Farmer's Market on Sunday, 13th April. It was a beautiful autumn day that welcomed 1,802 patrons through the gates to enjoy fresh local produce and entertainment provided by 83 vibrant stalls.
This month, we trialled a student-run stall, where some entrepreneurial Grade 3 students sold their creative handmade bracelets—an absolute hit with the crowd!
Looking ahead, our next market coincides with Mother’s Day and will host the Mother’s Day Classic, finishing right on the market grounds. Last year, there were 115 participants registered for the run, and that number has already been surpassed, with 200 registrations and counting!
Join us for what promises to be a fantastic day filled with community spirit, great food, and family fun.
