Supporting Your Child During the Busy Season

As we head into this exciting but hectic time of year, we understand that it can be a tiring period for both students and families. Many children experience increased fatigue and emotions in the final weeks of school, and this is completely normal. We encourage you to maintain regular routines at home, ensure your child is getting enough rest with consistent bedtimes, and offer extra support as needed. With all the excitement and busyness of the season, it’s important to remember that self-care and balance are key for everyone’s well-being.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at these fantastic events in the coming weeks as we wrap up the school year and begin the countdown to Christmas!

regards
Ken & Jayne

Farmers' Market News

What a wonderful day we had at the Bonbeach Farmers' Market! The sun was shining, the skies were clear, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as our community gathered to enjoy a fantastic selection of local produce, handmade goods, and much more.

The market is always a highlight of our month, bringing together local farmers, artisans, and families in a relaxed and friendly environment. This past weekend, the beautiful weather made it even more special, with just under 2000 people visiting to enjoy the warmth of the sun while browsing the stalls.

From fresh fruit and vegetables to homemade treats and unique crafts, there was something for everyone. Families strolled through the market, picking up fresh ingredients for the week ahead, while others enjoyed a coffee or delicious snack from one of the many food vendors. The kids had a great time too, with plenty of activities and local entertainment to enjoy.

A HUGE thank you to all the AMAZING volunteers for helping out on the day, your time and effort is very much appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you all at our Christmas Market, run by the Preschool on Sunday 8th December.

Remembrance Day

On Monday, Bonbeach Primary was proud to have two of our students, Penny and Harry, represent our school in the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Chelsea Cenotaph. Accompanied by principal Mr. Jones, they participated in this significant event to honour and remember those who have lost their lives in service to our country.

As part of the ceremony, Penny and Harry laid a single red rose and a wreath at the cenotaph, symbolising our respect and gratitude for the sacrifices made by the men and women of the armed forces. The red rose, a symbol of remembrance, alongside the wreath, represented the ongoing legacy of courage and sacrifice.

The ceremony at the Chelsea Cenotaph was a moment of reflection for all who attended, and we are incredibly proud of Penny and Harry for representing our school with such dignity and respect. Their participation in this important day reminds us all of the value of remembrance, gratitude, and the ongoing need to cherish the freedoms we enjoy.
