We Value a Safe and Respectful School Community
Staff and parents at Bonbeach Primary strive to build strong relationships in order to support the children in our care. We are passionate about their academic and social progress, as well as their wellbeing.
When parents, carers and school staff work together as one team, our students achieve their best. Everyone at school plays a role in creating a nurturing and safe place for learning and work. When contact is made between parents and staff, please remember that we strive to support positive behaviour choices and academic progress. At times, these conversations can be difficult to hear, but they are always without judgement and contact is made to keep parents up to date and informed. We understand that it is natural to, at times, be defensive of you child and request that you state your opinion calmly and respectfully.
Parents, carers and school staff have a relationship that can last many years. This is an opportunity to work together to create a positive relationship in the best interests of your child. When this relationship is built on respect and trust, students learn better and feel like they belong in the school.
Every member of our school community has a right to feel safe and be protected and we thank you for your assistance with maintaining this standard.

Class Interruptions
We strive to minimise interruptions to classes by refraining from making announcements and phone calls to classrooms during essential learning time. We ask that you please assist us with this by ensuring your child has all required items packed ready for school before leaving the house and reminders are discussed with you child. If you are concerned they may forget something, perhaps a note in their lunch box would be a valuable reminder.
Of course, we understand there are times when something unexpected arises that you need to communicate via the office.
We thank you for your support with this.
Energy Breakthrough Fundraising Thank You
Thank you to all the families who purchased tickets for our Energy Breakthrough. The prize generated a huge amount of excitement and enthusiasm which resulted in an amazing $1354.20 being raised. These funds will go towards supporting our Energy Breakthrough Team in their competitions this year.
Congratulations to James Carpenter JKM who was the lucky winner, and generously shared his bounty with staff, which was very much appreciated.

Years 3-6 having been busy in the garden this fortnight, although it is winter, there is a lot to do.
Taming the weeds, clearing drains and keeping things tidy has kept them all busy. As always, our students have the needs of all creatures at heart ensuring the bugs have a warm home for winter by updating the Bug Hotel to ensure its guests are warm and happy in this chilly weather.
