 Car Parking at drop off and pick up

There has been an increasing number of parents either illegally parking in Breeze St. or parking in the teachers’ car park and dropping their children off in the car park.

Both of these practices are dangerous and put our children at risk.

The council has contacted me about complaints from the neighbours and will be sending a by-laws officer out at drop off and pick up times, at random, to ensure that people are doing the right thing.

The teachers’ car park gates will be locked from 8:45am until 3:45pm to stop students walking through the car park to get into the school.

There will be a bollard installed at that entrance over the holidays and that will be put in place between 8:45am and 3:45pm after the break.

Sick Students

These last 2 weeks have seen a sharp rise in the number of students coming to school when they are ill.

We have had outbreaks of Influenza, Chicken Pox, Whooping Cough and colds through the grades.

For the health and well being of all, please do not send your child to school if they are not well.
