A Message from Ken and Jayne
Term 2
It was great to see everyone back looking refreshed and happy. Term 2 is a busy term and will also see the start of the colder weather. Please ensure that your child is ‘coldsmart’ this term and next. That is, of course, dressed appropriately for the cold and changeable weather that Melbourne can be famous for.
Sick Students
We have had a few cases of students who have been ill the night before (i.e. vomiting) and sent to school the next day. They should not be sent to school until 24 hours after the last episode.
These next 2 terms are the terms we are most likely to come down with sniffles, coughs and colds. Please, for the health of all the other students and teachers, do not send your child to school if they are displaying symptoms that could be contagious.
Prep Enrolments 2025
If you have a prep child starting next year, enrolment forms are now available from the office or if you know of families with children starting school next year, we would appreciate if you could inform them.

Anzac Day 2024
ANZAC Day falls on Thursday 25th April this year. Students will be able to purchase their special ANZAC Day badges next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with SRC students coming around to classes at 10:45am each day.
Students can purchase:
$2 White Rising Sun Badge
$3 Wristband
$4 Key Ring
$5 Slouch Hat
Funds raised go to the ANZAC Appeal to continue supporting veterans and their families in times of need.
We also welcome parents to attend our special ANZAC Day assembly on Friday 26th April at 3pm.

Farmers' Market News
The last day of the school holidays was a huge turnout for market day! Thanks to everyone who attended one of our biggest market days in 10 years with just over 1700 adults in attendance. We couldn’t do this without our fabulous volunteers, so thank you to those who helped out on the day too. The day was filled with sunshine, music, friends, family and local food. Lots of stalls sold out early for a successful market day!
Our next market day falls on Mother’s Day, May 12th, and we have partnered with the Mothers Day classic for a fun 2km run/walk, leaving from the market at 9.30am. See flyer for details. We would love to see you all there.
