Developing Life Skills in the Garden

 Students have been busy collecting seeds from the garden and working as a team to master the folding skills needed to wrap them for storage and sale. Perhaps you could encourage your child to demonstrate their newly acquired skills folding their bed sheets at home!

A generous neighbour donated 50 bags of garden soil and the students loaded up the new garden bed in no time ready for planting.

We were very excited to receive delivery of a new irrigation system and a class set of garden gloves donated by TORO Australia thanks to POPE Products. This generous donation will minimise the work load and help our garden thrive, especially during the dryer months.

Mrs Ivy and Amy spent a productive day this week planning fun and educational activities for students to experience and participate in during Garden Sessions next term.
