A warm welcome to everyone for the beginning of what is set to be a busy Term 4. It was lovely seeing everyone’s smiling faces on Monday for the first day of Term 4 after a chance to recharge throughout the holiday break.
Students have transitioned smoothly returning to school this week and we are looking forward to a productive and positive term ahead. Term 4 always tends to be busy with learning and assessments, reports, 5/6 Camp, incursions and excursions, sport, transition, whole school and the end of year event including our Christmas Concert in December.
We look forward to sharing these event with families and students throughout the Term and encourage you to keep a close eye on Compass and Newsletters to ensure you stay up to date with what is happening throughout the school.
Next Friday, we will be holding a prep- grade 2 house athletics fun day on Friday October 13th (week 2 of term). Students will stay with their classroom teacher and rotate around to seven different fun athletics events, with house points to win for every event. The day will take place on the oval and basketball/netball courts. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours on the day. Parents are also welcome to come and cheer on the students competing.

This Sunday Marks Bonbeach Farmers Markets 9th Birthday!
The 9th year of local food in action!
Come and celebrate the fun, food and festivities throughout the day with surprise events, fabulous stalls and Bonbeach Farmers Market tattoos.

Bonbeach Farmers Market is the result of one local, Narelle Legg’s vision all those years ago. Simply, to reconnect our community to their local food system. The market has continued to grow, with the aim of supporting local farmers and strengthening relationships between farmers and the community.
Farmers markets are important to local economic development as well as the social and environmental vitality of the community.
Farmers market stallholders educate their shoppers by sharing farming practices and discussing nutrition as well as how to prepare food with customers.
Expanding to makers, bakers, creators, local artisan products, and small local business plus street eats all means it's a one stop shop for locals to enjoy.
There really has never been a better time than now to shop at a farmers market. Through supporting your community and its small businesses, you will discover another way of living. Enjoy a healthier way of life and develop a greater sense of community – eating fresher food, knowing exactly where it came from.
Thankyou to our community. ðŸŽ
Footy fever was running high on the last day of Term 3 as Bonbeach Primary celebrated the 2023 footy season by parading their team colours and participating in a variety of footy related activities throughout the morning.
A great day was had by all and it was a positive way to end a fantastic Term.
