Curriculum Day and Public Holiday

A reminder that this coming Monday 31^st October is a Curriculum day. Students are not required to attend school on this day.

Tuesday 1^st November is a public holiday for Melbourne Cup.

Transition

2023 Prep Transition

There will be an information session for 2023 Prep parents on Wednesday 9^th November at 6:30pm.

Our transition sessions for students beginning school next year will begin in November. Children will be invited to school for three, 40-minute sessions over two weeks: Wednesday 16^th November, Tuesday 22^nd November and Wednesday 23^rd November. During these sessions, children will be in small groups of approximately 10 children and will participate in activities in one of our Prep classrooms.

Tuesday 13^th December is the State-wide Transition Day. On this day, our 2023 Prep students will visit for a half day transition session in their 2023 classroom with their class and teacher.

If you have a child starting in Prep next year, information regarding transition has been sent via email.

2023 Year 1-6 Transition

On Tuesday 6^th December, our current Year Prep - 5 students will participate in a transition ‘Step up’ day. This will be a full day where students will have the opportunity to experience their 2023 year level. Students will be in mixed groups and will rotate through activities with each of the teachers in their 2023 year level. This will be an opportunity for students to experience the classrooms, meet the teachers, mix with other students and discuss and experience what it will be like in their 2023 year level.

On the State-Wide Transition Day on Tuesday 13^th December, students will participate in another full day of transition where they will be in their 2023 classroom with their 2023 class and teacher for the day. Students will bring home a note on this day informing parents of the 2023 class.
