On Wednesday the 24th August, 27 students represented Bonbeach at the Interschool gymnastics competition. They have been training since last term, every Friday morning and have shown great commitment. All the gymnasts performed their routines fantastically and should all be proud of their efforts.
They achieved some amazing results. In the junior competition, the Grade 3 team came 1st and the Grade 4 team came 2nd. In the senior competition, the Grade 5 team 5th and the Grade 6 team came 2nd.
Big thanks to Nicole Adamson for running training every week, Kirsten Worn for organising the leotards and all the other parents that have volunteered at training and on competition day.

The last day of Term 3, Friday the 16th of September, is Footy Fun Day!!!
Come to school wearing your favourite teams' colours. We will have a parade in the morning on the basketball court and then the SRC will run a coin line competition. All AFL teams will be in the competition as well as an 'OTHER' for those of us that support other codes such as NRL. Students are encouraged to bring along as many coins as they want, as we will be creating a coin line for each team! The team with the longest coin line wins, and all money raised, goes towards a very worthy charity, Fight Cancer Foundation through Footy Colours Day. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed in their team’s colours! Get your footy gear together, your coins, and be ready to cheer on your team.
